Hello, I’m Anuj Vijaywargiya, a London-based filmmaker passionate about crafting impactful documentaries that connect audiences with diverse perspectives and untold stories. My filmmaking journey has been defined by a deep commitment to authenticity and a drive to explore complex cultural and socio-political themes. Most recently, I completed The King on the Border, a 20-minute documentary that delves into the lives of the Konyak tribe, a community split by the Indo-Myanmar border. This film, which premiered to an audience at UAL, highlights the tribe’s rich cultural heritage and the challenges posed by geographical and political divisions.

With expertise in directing, cinematography, and editing, I manage every aspect of the filmmaking process, from in-depth research and pre-production to post-production and screenings. My approach blends technical precision with a creative vision to produce visually compelling and emotionally resonant narratives.

Beyond documentary filmmaking, I have built a strong foundation in creating engaging visual content for digital platforms. Through my YouTube channel, Self Musafir, I’ve shared travel-based narratives that have amassed over 3 million views and built a loyal subscriber base of around 20,000. This experience has honed my skills in content creation, social media strategy, and audience engagement, complementing my work as a filmmaker.
